1. Welcome back to school is covered in october. Graduation is covered in many ways in june. In january they cover alot of winter stuff and how to deal with the cold.
2. 03-04 was google. 04-05 was the presidential election. 05-06 was cell phones becoming popular for high school students to have.
3. there was about 14 a year, so about 3 or 4 each issue
4. About 6, there was around 1 or 2 each issue. Each issue would have a different teacher from a different subject talk about what they're going to do, what they're doing or what they did during the year or new stuff that is being introduced. They also had a "get to know them" segment about teachers that are new to eastview.
5. Election, the tsunami, valentines day, homecoming, spring break and graduation had full page articles.
6. The boys bball team in 03-04. Girls hockey in 03-04. varsity baseball and softball in 03-04. Girls tennis and girls hockey in 04-05. Eastview alumni on gophers football team in 04-05. Volleyball, track, boys and girls hockey and swimming and diving teams at state in 05-06.
7. They did a story about senior pics and how if you take your time they will be good.
8. They do alot of stories about the different issues in the news and what might affect eastview.
9. They have alot of articles about new features in classes and new classes avalible.
10. they had a story about the opening of the school store.
11. not really, they try to keep it all positive.
12. The way that jeans look and hair styles are different.
13.in an early issue cell phones and ipods were new now everybody has one.
14. the speech team on 05-06 did very well.
15. they had alot of stories about the robotics club and investment club and others like that.
16. homecoming, valentines and graduation
17. they had more stories about differences in music taste and how theatures were doing and the only music featured was local for the most part.
18. i didnt see many cartoons but they were drawings that went along with a few different stories.
19. the paper today is alot bigger with more stories and the writing is more in depth.
20. eastview has become a more diverse population in the 4 years i've been here.
21. the track team carrying the football into the stadium for the football games. Color day is probably the biggest tradition. Our rivals are apple valley because they are so close and eden praire because they always beat us at almost everything.
22. The many things different activities that people are involved in. We are probably one of the only schools with a daily tv show. We also have a school paper that is distributed 4 or 5 times a year. The many activities avalible to students. The mant different fundraisers that are run through out the year.

Definition of journalism: A list of current events. Thay should be news worthy. Publishing of current events throgh tv, newspaper,radio,internet.

superbowl commercials
